After years of enjoying photography as a hobby, I was encouraged by a couple of CLOs to start selling prints at our embassy. Four years and hundreds of photos later, I have a large portfolio and scores of happy clients. I am currently on my way to Nassau and will be researching online sales and social media marketing as well as improving my portraiture skills. I currently have two websites - Arklahomamuse.com and a sales page on FineArtAmerica.com. Part of coming improvements will be to combine the two and make online purchases easier for my clients.
Please visit my sites and purchase those photos of the places you forgot you loved from your travels!!
I believe that every business owner should learn to tell their stories. Exploring your stories helps you understand why you do what you do. Editing your stories can change the way you feel about yourself and revitalize your mission in the world. Sharing your stories helps you connect with other people (the ones you most want to reach) in deep meaningful ways without the need to do uncomfortable selling and marketing.
Storytelling is many different things. It’s a science. It’s an art. It’s a craft. It’s even a therapeutic practice. But it’s also the best way for you to build deep, authentic connections and a tribe of people who really believe in what you are selling. Why? Because stories are the fastest way to build connections. Luckily there are also practical applications for story in business as using the right language and media in your stories helps people find your business and visualize what you can do for them.
I look forward to helping you tell the stories that share your mission authentically in the world.
